• This week: Ep 123 - Perfectionism Part 3! Procrastination... Procrastination can feel like a lack of discipline, but we keep seeing something else underneath it: perfectionism. When we believe the first attempt has to be flawless, starting becomes loaded. We talk honestly about how that shows up for educators, from delaying cognitively heavy work because we are “waiting for the right time,” to secretly hoping we can skip the messy middle and land on perfect in one shot.
• Next week: Ep 124 - Perfectionism Part 4... People pleasing.
• Last week: Ep 122 - Perfectionism Part 2! High achiever or perfectionist?

Resources:

• Article: Why do so many people procrastinate and how do you overcome it?
• Book: Eat That Frog: 21 Great Ways to Stop Procrastinating and Get More Done in Less Time
• Podcast: Stop Wasting Your Time: The Scientific Way to Stop Procrastination and Get Control of Your Day

Yours,

Tammy
